Hi,
I would have a look at Spiceworks.com It can do a lot of stuff, but they do Help Desk software very well.

+1 for Spiceworks but it can be overwhelming.
I also like (and use) a free version of Web Help Desk (they have a paid version as well). Here: Free Help Desk Software by Web Help Desk
