does anyone here have a really strict school system?

our school is really retarded when it comes to security. like they think that they have all of the bases covered, when really they dont. for example, they block regedit.exe so we dont delete the proxy, but we can still get into it thru the command prompt. so they block cmd.exe, but they dont block command.com. another stupid thing is that they block certain files from being executed (e.g. firefox.exe) yet all you have to do is rename them and they still open, despite the fact the thread has the name 'firefox.exe'. oh and they have no protection against booting another OS from a CD, thumb drive, etc. so running unix/linux/etc is incredibly easy. you might think that I'm the retarded one for revealing this, but honestly, as much as i contribute to the mayhem of the network, the techs really need to know this because people do some really bad things on them, like shutting down the entire internet for the district from one computer, and causing certain people to lose points on completely computer based final presentations that make or break your grade
