What I can do:
-access server from other computers in my network at http://server/ -use phproxy on my server at http://server/blah -use torrentflux-b4rt at http://server/torrent What I can't do: -Any of these things from the internet. I used this tutorial to make a server with kubuntu, apache2, mysql, Tutorial I used a free no-ip.com host name named "jkay.servebeer.com" and installed the dynamic ip software on my computer. From what the tutorial says I can just enter in jkay.servebeer.com and it should take me to my server. Instead I get an error "could not connect to remote server" I googled and most problems were solved by forwarding port 80, but my port 80 is already forwarded on my router. Google also said to try a nslookup, when I try it I get my ip adress so I guess no-ip.com is working on their side. Any Ideas or is there anything else I can provide to help diagnose the problem? I'll upload some pictures of what I see in a little bit. Thanks in advance! Edit: Nevermind I think I found out why it doesn't work. I can't access the website from inside the network. I tried outside of my network and it worked. If anything comes up I'll post back.
