So, recently my computer got some registry/system32 repair error, and it was fixable, but I was planning to format anyway, so I just formatted. Note that when I was formatting the drive, there was the main partitioned space, but there was a weird 8 mb partition below it. I partitioned the main space and installed windows, but on initial startup, I have a NT authority system auto 60 sec auto shutdown. Isn't this a worm? Is it possible to have a worm on first startup after format?

its possible even after a format that the virus / worm is still there, Best way to get rid of it would be to create the disk in this guide http://www.computerforums.org/comput...cd-103887.html and scan your system with as many scanners as you can

Well after you formatted you had to do a clean install right? Maybe the disk is faulty. Do a clean install again, this time with a different disk.
