Default Virus

Hi,
I was working on my desktop (I'm on my laptop now) and AVG popped up saying that cmd.exe is infected/is a virus! What should I do?? I moved it to the vault. It just seems weird that cmd.exe is a virus... Is it safe to use the desktop now?

i think you should just ignore it and do a scan on your computer.
it is possible that anti virus software can mistakenly think a file is a virus when it is actually not.
try go to run and type in cmd and then click ok.
if cmd pops up then just ignore it. if not, you might need to do something about it.
try that and tell me what happend.

You just run the program first. Then check on if any problem comes or not.
