suggest how to block hacking WiFi networks

We believe neighbouring WiFi networks are being used to hackinto our computers, mobiles and laptops and install viruses / malware in them.
The WiFi networks are also used to steal important personal data
Please suggest how to block these WiFi networks, and identify the individual orcompany who is creating this problem.

Hi,

There are a few things that you can do to secure yourself and your family. First, I would recommend setting a password for your network. The best passwords are between 10-20 characters, longer if you are really paranoid. It should consist of letters, number, and special characters e.g. !?$ etc.

Next, the way that they are probably finding your network is because it is labeled something generic like linksys, belkin, or your name. I would recommend that you see if your router has a setting to either remove the name or have it come up as hidden.

Those are the basics. If you find that this still doesn't work for you I can come up with some more security features, but I would need to know what type of router you have.

i would recommend configuring mac address access list, This will limit which devices can access the router. Take a look at Wi-Fi Tip - Enable MAC Address Filtering
