Was watching a video "One Piece episode 506 at watchop.com.
Was attacked by a trojan which was blocked. and then AVG denied access to the page. no big deal I thought. Later that day I go away from my PC for an hour to cook only to find I had 2 attacks blocked. I have a 20 minute video to upload to youtube and I cant finish it because my PC slows down whenver I connect to my internet. I keep TaskManager Up at all times to know what should and shouldnt be running (windows XP) and found this executable run when I connect and open Firefx "regsvr32.exe" Never seen it before Also note I have AVG 2011 and Malwarebytes up to date. They're unable to find anything from full/flash scans. Im at a loss. here's my Hijack log. I have found AVG to be fairly ineffective in the past on multiple occasions. AVAST has always worked for me, so go ahead and give that a try.

How's it going? Is it fixed? Run ComboFix, that'll knock it all off.

Sorry, I know i'm a little late replying to this and understand you may have fixed the problem.
For future and if this problem with viruses still persists then follow the steps on TechDon - Free Virus, Malware, Sypware Removal Tips The software used on this website is all free, you can simply click the links on the webpage to be taken directly to the download page. The virus removal method used on TechDon - Free Virus, Malware, Sypware Removal Tips is very effective at removing almost all viruses you may come accross. The virus removal tool from Kaspersky which is mentioned is by far one of the best although may take some time to scan. Hope this helps! |

Try to use other anti virus. It seems AVG can't detect that one. I would recommend you to try Mircrosoft Essentials Security. This is what I used now at it works great. Microsoft Security Essentials provides real-time protection for your PC that guards against viruses, spyware, and other malicious software. Microsoft Security Essentials is a free* download from Microsoft that is simple to install, easy to use, and is automatically updated to protect your PC with the latest technology.
