Question about IP addresses

Hi.
I believe that somebody logged into my gmail account because I check the logged in details and noticed a new IP address. I think I know who it is, but I don't know how to find the IP address for the computer this person uses. I have emails he/she has sent me in the past.
Is there any way I can find the IP address of the computer --he/she uses an IPAD - they sent the email from to see if it's the same as the one that logged onto my account?

Please help.
