Need software that can block certain files from being put on computer off of a disc

Does anyone know of this kind of software? I need to be able to block certain files with certain extensions (.exe, .jpg) from being put on the computer off of a flash drive or any other disc.
I know this software exists because at the library you could not open certain files on your personal disc. Deep Freeze and Active Directory were suggested to me but I want something that is lower priced or freeware just for one personal computer.

You could use threatfire and create a custom rule to prevent execution from certain drive letters.
