Hi everyone, Im am new to this forum and a complete novice with computers so please be patient
just got a nasty virus on my computer, 'antivir solution pro'. has anyone had any experience with this? And could someone please point me in the right direction on how to get rid of it. I currently dont have any antivirus programmes installed, I have just tried downloading A.V.G, but because of the virus it wont let me run it. Eternal thanks in advance!!!update: I have just tried running superantispyware.com, but I still have no luck. it is the same as a.v.g in that it will not let me select the programme to run |

Hi, have you tried running malwarebytes? http://www.malwarebytes.org/
possibly spybot? http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html I have only had 1 virus and malwarebytes got rid of it. Best of luck and let us know if it helps

http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/
Stinger is mis-named by its creator to trip up a virus blocking other programs. Run it on the out of the box settings. After that I would suggest ComboFix. http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe Start it up then don't touch anything. Mouse, keyboard, nothing. It may take a bit for it to finish. Wait for the report to pop up on the screen to do anything.

I would suggest scanning with Malwarebytes and Spybot S&D in safe mode.
