Hey,
Can any1 tell me if there a way to find out the "user name" using the IP address. For example: If the admin is logged in into a system... It should display "admin"... The next day... If I am logged in into the "SAME" system... It should show my name... I tried with nbtstat –a ipaddress("ipaddress" is the ip address.) and then net view /domain:ad > somefile.txt But it only gives the "System name" and not how is logged into the system... Thank u for reading so much... ![]() Pls help |

No, that type of information is not typically on the IP stack. Typically speaking the closest thing you'll get is the name of the computer you're looking for.
