i am solving a puzzle and i need the answer to the following clue

A penetration of the system by an unauthorized source.

it is a nine lettered word with second letter "n"

please help me!!! stuck on this one for long time!!

Isn't this cheating?

I'll make you think a bit more.

The first letter is an "i". Think about getting shots/immunizations from a doctor. You could also phrase it as getting an "in_______"
