Hello first post so hello everyone... I just obtained a computer from my employer, its a school district not gonna get specific, the problem is that they only gave me the password to the guest user which does not allow me to instal any new programs without the other pasword I was wondering if there was a way i could reset the computer so that I am the admin so that i can freely use it thank you in advance

You can always download and use the boot CD that is offered by this forum. Computer Forums - Computer Forums Free Boot Disk
It has some tools that will reset the Admin password allowing you to login.

Just ask your employer for admin privileges....they should be able to provide password.
