I am a photographer and have all my photos on an external hard drive. I recently got a new computer because my old one died basically. I had all the photos encrypted on the external hard drive. Now that I switched computers it won't let me access those photos. I tried to take ownership of them and it didn't work. Is there anything I can do?

What method of encryption did you use? Sometimes you can still access stuff that is "encrypted" with another OS, so if you have a Mac or Linux PC available that you can plug it into, you might be able to access it.

What program did you use to encrypt the files?
Once you have that program on your computer you should be able to access the files. |
