Hello,
I've recently found out that I have a Trojan Virus called 'Winidg32.rom' I have run several virus scans (Using AVG Anti-Virus 9), and they haven't found any viruses, or infections. I had a Trojan Virus a couple of weeks ago, and removed it with no trouble. However, when I start up my laptop a warning appears as follows: ![]() (Note: I've had this appear for a few weeks, but I had no idea it was a Trojan) Thanks in advance. |

Same as the other post, I put it in the wrong forum section last time, because I had no idea it was a virus.

Essentially what that message is saying is "I was told to load up this dll when you start up your computer, but I can't find it anywhere so I'm afraid I haven't been able to load it."
If you've removed the virus completely it's probably harmless - just damn annoying. You could always try unregistering it (though if it doesn't exist I'm not sure it'll work.) Start => Run: Code:
regsvr32 /u C:\windows\system32\winidg32.rom
