My parents claim that they're connected to my laptop's "serial" number and can see all my Skype messages. I didn't believe them, then they started quoting stuff that I've said over Skype. Now, I've looked at all the processes on task manager and nothing seems fishy. I've reset my computer to factory settings, changed all my passwords, deleted Skype from my other laptop, and disabled chat history from both my computer and my parents' computer. Is there any way what they're saying is true and they could still be monitoring my conversations? I've even changed my Vista's product key.

Yes, they could have installed a keylogger onto your computer.
Go to this website: http://mirrors.us.securitywonks.net/...pybotsd162.exe And download and install a program called spybot search and destroy. After it has been installed update it and then scan your computer and it should remove it

Comp Pro you should know better than to interfere with what his parents are doing. There's obviously a trust issue between them and it's best to stay out of it.
