This much is true. But you must remember that Vista's kernel is a resource hog, most other OS's will be able to hold any amount of RAM if they have a fast enough processor.

That is not true. I have a friend who is running vista on a quad-core computer with 8 GB RAM. Vista can handle as much as you want it to with the right processor.

it depends on the game that you are playing. I like to play a game called Urban Terror. Every server on it uses teamspeak. where as other games would use vent more often.

Personally, I think VB is good if you only want to make programs. it doesn't require lots of code, but the first one i learned and would recommend is java. you can use and incorporate it on the web...
