i just bought a 200 gig and when i first installed only 128 gigs showed up, so i installed sp1, now it showed 186 gigs, is that normal for a 200 gig? or should there be more

well i need a new hd and im wondering, should i get a 200 gb 8mb buffer for like 200, or a 300 gb 16 mb buffer for 270. btw it might be going into a modded xbox, but i dont know yet, your thoughts?
