I've used it with the Kali distro. It's pretty straight forward and really easy to use if you have basic knowledge of the Linux terminal. Pretty much one simple command line and it's running for you.

Ccleaner is basically all I use for my computers.

ESET Smart Security is my protection suite and O&O Defrag my HDD defrag program. I only run these once in awhile though.
