Writing a basic computer program on notepad

I was just wondering if anyone new where/how i could make a basic program on notepad?
If you have any sites that go through step by step or can send me a notepad template to Gibsonman_3@hotmail.com that would be really great!!

What you do is you type in your source code, save it, and use a special program called a compiler to turn it into a program.

There are several different programming languages available:

C/C++, Java, Python, LISP, the list goes on and on.

Are you asking how to write a computer program using Notepad?
