Default Windows Process auto-restart/ Keep Alive

Anyone know how to write a script in Windows 2000 environment that will allow me to run as a scheduled task every 5 mins? The script will check to see if a process is running and depending on if it is or isnt it will start it or do nothing.

Or if you know of any easier ways that I can have a process stay running even it fails or is stopped.
