I'm learning out of a book that i bought at Barnes + Noble. It was 10 bucks, and i've gotten through all the preprocessor directives and #define and stuff like that really easily. I'm just wondering though, what kind of compiler do you plan to use? Microsoft VC++? Or Borland Compiler? I used the standard c++ command line compiler under linux for a while. Really easy to use.

Thumbs up No

get dev-c++ the best compiler {and by far the easiest and most efficient} ive ever seen! all the easy of a beginner compiler with none of the disadvantages. in other words its as powerful as any other one but easier to use than the rest!
