Default where can i get c++

where can i get the C++ program i want to start programming but dont have the programs to do it unless i use DOS which im learning right now but im also wondering whats easier to learn and do.

You need a c++ compiler. For windows there is Bloodshed's DevC++, and Microsoft's Visual Studio. Borland used to give free command line tools and compilers; i wonder if it still does?
