A Simple Game in Visual basic .net

Hello every one, ive seen this forums so very helpful..

one day i was surfing the internet then something pops up in my mind

"can i make a game or just a simple game in visual basic .net?"

and for my question, is it true that old games are programmed in C++ language??

can you post an example of this programs please??

You can make "a game" in pretty much any language you choose. Of course, the style of some games means they lend themselves more towards different languages but yes, it's perfectly possible to code a game in VB. I'm sure many people have, Google around! What exactly are you trying to make though?
