I don't know what section this would go under but is there a way to make a AutoExtracting executable that auto extracts itself into say the windows startup directory so that the program will always run on system start up. This would be so that it can go on multiple computers. Would it not be possible because of the user accounts. On my computer the Startup directory is under C:\Documents and Settings\(my user name)\Start Menu\Programs\Startup. It is mainly for making an auto executable that places short cuts for my pop up blocker to auto load and a few other psecurity programs that don't load up on there own. On multiple computers on my network. Each has it's own User account (diferent names).

I don't think this would be practical. Possible, yes, practical, no.

Why don't you just get a program and add it to the startup group? To do this, you need to log onto each Workstation as an Administrator, open msconfig.exe, and add the program entry to the startup group.

You should then be able to logon as any user on any workstation and the programs should run.

I'm not a networking expert, but I hope this has been of some use to you.
