Hey everyone,
I'm new to this forum and had a question that I was hoping someone
here might be able to help me with. I have a client who has a server
that needs batch files to run 3 different types of backups. Two of the
backups will consist of just a few files and folders, but the other
one will be a full system backup (including system state). I
admittedly don't know a whole lot about writing scripts for NTBackup
and that's why I would really appreciate anyone who could help me out.
Here are some more specifics:
All 3 backups need to be sent to an iomega REV drive. It is mapped as
F: on the server. There are two hard drives in the server in RAID 1
and two partitions (C: & D: ). I have scheduled backups for the REV
drive and they work flawlessly, but I can't get any scripts to work. I
have 3 .bks files that were created from the scheduled backups that I
have referenced in my scripts, but I always get a syntax error or
NTBackup just opens and then closes.
All I need is the most basic script possible. Nothing fancy. I can add
more to it later. I just need one that works. If anyone needs more
info just let me know. Thank you in advance for any help you might give.
