The first thing that jumps out is the quality of english makes things rather difficult to follow. I appreciate that english isn't everyone's first language, but it makes a challenging task unnecessarily harder if you have to work around the english as well as learn how to program.

show me how to use GTK+ libraries (for example) in addition to the basics and then you are adding value. Otherwise, you have a slimmed down version of cplusplus.com
