Need help banning IP from a form in PHP

I want to be able to from a form! Like Just a textbox saying IP: and then you enter it and it adds it to the ipban list or something...any ideas?

what is your site address and also what host are you using and what webhost package are you using this all depends in your host.

in your cpanel you should have multipul options and you should be able to block ip address from there is your host does not have that i recomend transfaring your site over to www.appropriatehosting.com i was on goddady.com and found things i did not like also what server you using windows or linux?

no, this is for php software. such as vbulletin. I do have webhosting linux with ip banning in cPanel but I cannot use that.

Well if you OWNED your own *Nix box you could have php edit your iptables blocking traffic from ipaddress which would basically do the same thing.
