Default mobile gaming, where to start?

i'd liek to get into creating mobile games. so what should i learn to be able to make games for the android platform?

Let's start with this, do you know anything about or have any experience with programming? If not, I'd really suggest taking time to understand objects, inheritance and basic syntax. If you're interested in Android I'd suggest doing this in Java since it is very similar to what you'll be doing create android program.

that is some help, thanks.

not being a programmer from any aspect (aside from a markup language and css), this looks pretty overwhelming. but maybe i'll get lucky and make the next angry birds! thanks for the link bk_123.

thanks for the java tip, i'll look into it.

that about page doesn't go into detail about whether i should look into J2ME Eclipse or Brew though. i'm assuming J2ME because when i googled in context there was the word "java". but i'm still not sure. -.- anyone have any ideas?
