In my new profession I am required to learn some HTML code. I have little experience in the code, but I will be formatting parts of website, nothing major. Any tips on learning the language? I found that w3 school online and seems to be pretty informative, but what code is really important. Thanks.

I would start off reading a book in html. something that is easy to understand and practice what you learn. I started out using html for dummies and than as I ran into problems I was able to search the internet to find what answers I had. The site I normally went to while searching was w3's website. Hope this helps

but what code is really important.

Can you expand on this a little bit. If I were you I would start with learning the basics, and then start to tailor your learning to what you will be doing in your job. You should probably work on learning CSS along with HTML. If you get a book look for one that teaches XHTML and CSS, because that is the new standard.

Cheers!
