I have an Acer laptop and it has a function key which when pressed together with the top or down arrow key, the volume can be adjusted. However, I have a pair of studio headphones with an USB sound card and this set up amplifies any output signal to a very loud potential so I have to keep the windows sound on 1%. However every time I switch between headphone and laptop speaker, this setting gets lost and I have to reduce the volume back to 1%.
NOW here is my question, when i use the function key along with arrow buttons on the keyboard, the volume either goes up by 2 or goes down by 2 and that is WAY too big of a difference. If I were to use my mouse and drag the tab up and down the scale, its hard to get it exactly on 1% volume. I would like to find a way to change increment from 2 to 1. Anyone know how this can be achieved?
