I no this question has been posted about a million times, but ive just started to take interest in programming and i would like to know how i should start out.

Well, for beginners i suggest using Just BASIC. It is free, easy to learn, simple, and is actually fun!

It has a great forum (it helped me A LOT) at http://justbasic.conforums.com

Then once you get the hang of it, consider upgrading to Liberty BASIC (not free but worth every cent)

Hey if you do decide to join the JB (Just BASIC) forum look for me on there! My username is lhamil64 (same on the LB [liberty basic] forum)

java script is probably easiest to get into,

there are plenty of free languages out there, (java (not Java script is another good one).

for some languages you may have to buy a package, (like visual basic etc). but other languages (like C, C++ etc) are completely free...

to be honest the kid of software you should learn will really depend on what you want to make in the end.
