Default Java and vb help pls.

Hello everybody,
I am utkarsh from India. I am presently learning C/C++ which expected to be completed by the 15th of this month.

I am planning to learn JAVA and VB myself. S I want a good ebook to guide me through as I am literally ignorant to both the languages. I would like to have free e-book.

Pls guide me through.

Um. No offence or anything but when new people (like people with 1 post) come here and just ask for stuff like we're only here for the sole purpose to provide them with information and search for things for them... It kinda upsets me.

STFW. here's a good place to start

Same here...it seems to have way too many people here with 10 or 20 posts and they are all asking for help.

most ebooks can't be obtained leagally and freely..
(it's one or the other really...).
I don't have any ebooks to give you.. but I would say that you should search for a tutorial site, as you'll get far more from that then you would an Ebook snice the application tutorials are somewhat more 'real world' with a tutorial site.
