Default installing C++?

i just got C++ version 6 and i tried to install it on my computer and it said that it could not find acmboot.exe any help would be much appreciated...

C++ is a language, not a program, and there is no "version 6" of C++.

Maybe if you tell the name of the program you are trying to install and the name of your operating system someone can help you.

i'm guessing when he says version 6 of c++ he means Visual C++ 6

Google for "acmboot.exe" and click the first link. I suspect the solution there will solve your problem. HTH.
