I want to start designing systems, and I'm looking for some suggestions.
Is flowcharts the way to go to design a system?
Is Microsoft Visio a great tool for this? Or maybe another program is better?
Any tutorials or books you can recommend me would be great.
An idea I have to start off would be to design an inventory system to be coded in c#, and getting data from a sql server database.
