Default Fortran compiler

Can anyone send me in the right direction in finding a fortran compiler the works on windows xp? I am having trouble finding one and any help would be appericated.

Fortran? That's quite old. Have you found compilers that aren't compatible with XP? If so, this problem might be because fortran is an older language and hasn't been widely used in commercial programs for quite a while.

Try softpedia, and I'll have a look through my programming books to see if I can find one for you.
