I programmed with Alice last semester for my Intro to Programming Logic course. Alice drove me crazy. I would have much rather used something else. At least I got a B in the class. R.I.P. Randy Pausch

I have his book. Haven't gotten around to reading it. I also saw a little of his "Last Lecture". Were you a student of his?

I don't know why the consider Alice a programming language, all it does is call pre-made functions..

My personal favorite is Assembly, because of its extreme power. C++ and Java come next.

My favorite language is C. It is a very powerful language.

I have always been interested in making my own Language! I realise that it would be impossible without any programming knowledge but the very basics; but I think it would be interesting.C is what Windows is made of - C is the building blocks of software everywhere! J# may make it up soon but will fade after new people come in after learning C# (like me!) and possibly C++.
