Default Comp Programming

I don't do it as a job but as a hobbie really and i have been reading articles and they say that any computer associated job other than programming makes no money whatsoever is this true and why?

Lol; I don't know where you heard that but its certainly not true. Even at Microsoft; Programmers are not the only Computer Related people to make money... Software Researchers, Hardware Researchers, Analysts, Testers, Hardware Manufacturers, Server Administrators, Network Administrators...

Outside; you get people making money in Hardware more than Programming. Everything in Computing makes money at some level; not only Programming.
