Default basic syntax programing lang.?

i was wondering if there is an easy to learn basic syntax programing lanq. out there? i was wondering about c#, but i tried c++ but that seemed that it would be a long time before i would beable to do much. any ideas???? thanks

Python is pretty easy to learn, but it depends on what you want to do. If you want to learn Desktop programming then Visual Basic 6 is probably the best beginner's language. You can probably find it cheap and there's still a lot of VB6 out there. It will at least give you confidence as a programmer and allow you to move on to bigger things. See if you can get a hold of Visual Studio 6 and a good book. You can start with ebay.
