I want to self teach myself some programming I know some HTML where should I go from their?? Java? C++? Python? & do you recommend any books?

Umm what direction are u wanting to go with programming??? I just went to my local library and got 10-15 (u dont have to get that many) books on all kinds of programming...There are also lots of free online tutorials here PHP Tutorial - Introduction and looooootttsss of other places Hope u find what u need.

Personaly I would start with visual basic 2008 -2010 Express Edition as it is the most easy to learn and you can deghn things yourself.

I think Python is great because it really encourages good programming habits.

Visual C# is a nice language where you can accomplish and complete projects very quickly to give a sense of achievement, but it also has it's advanced side to take it much further, but this would be more of a long term goal.

PHP is another good option.

It depends on what option you want to go for.

HTML5 would be nice.
