![]() ![]() just bought and installed this sound card from newegg and all i can say is amazing. well worth the 80 bucks. The sound card supports full 7.1 plus dolby live encoding and a bunch of other software features the sound quality its self is much higher then i expected i could get out of my speakers even stereo music sounds great but the best feature i think is how home system ready it is besides your regular computer speaker ports it also has 2 optical audio ports (one input one output) and a coax port (input or output) so basically no switching of cables for me any more my set up is cable box to sound card via optical xbox to cable box via optical then optical to receiver for 5.1 the only thing i will complain about is the driver you have to switch the file type of music weather its stereo or 6 channel ect hopefully a driver update will automatically do this ill give it a 4.5/5
