I just picked this up yesterday since I had heard good things about it. Overall I thought the movie was pretty good although the ending was a little weak. A few twists here and there make it interesting though.
The basic plot of the movie. The sun is dieing and the year is 2057. They have sent 8 people in a space ship to the sun with a Nuclear weapon designed to create a mini star to basically create a new star out of the dieing sun. The movie starts out right in space. None of this lets see what all the characters life before the mission stuff. Just right to the good stuff off the bat. This movie definitely strays from the typical end of the world movies. The picture quality is amazing in full 1080P. Some of the sun and planet shots are extremely detailed and look stunning. I give it a thumbs up with a recommendation for Sci Fi people and HD enthusiast alike. |
