How much better are the new imac with the 27" screen? Should I spend the time saving for one or stick to a PC with similar specs? Thanks!

Depends on what you're interested in. I'm using one right now, and it's a great machine.

I agree with the above. It depends on what you are doing with it, but the new imacs are great. I have the 21.5 in. 27 is too big for me.

i was told the 27" has screen flicker issues, sometimes as bad as the whole monitor going blank and then flickering back to life. although apple arent the kind to let a problem lie, probably been fixed by now.
