centrinos are not just the cpu. its a laptop technology, which usually comprises of the cpu, wifi card, and stuff like that. havent seen any single core ones, but then again single core is old school

anyways this laptop really is working well. no major faults

I just purchased a I just purchased a XPS M1530. The computer has Windows 8 installed. If I do not like Windows 8 is thete anyway to convert the Windows 8 interace to look like Windows XP which is the Windows version that I like the best.

Its a guide that you follow and can do yourself not have to go and pay some to do it..

Does work but still is not as good as the original Windows XP. I could format the hard drive to install Windows XP correct?

I do not like the email program that came with Windows 8. One needs a Microsoft account to use the program so therefor my gmail account will not work on Windows 8.

Do you have to be able to access you email from an application or is the web interface not suited to your needs? I am surprised that Google has not developed a Gmail application for Windows or any other OS..
