So recently my friend gave me an Athlon II 240 from his shop and this is the overclock i have gotten so far:
![]() 3710mhz clock 265mhz reference clock 2120mhz HT 880mhz RAM 1.53 bios set vcore. Prime stable 14 hours. I am kinda worried about that 46C motherboard load temp but idk. So is 1.53vcore too high for a 45nm chip?? i mean the stock voltage for this proc was set at 1.4250 which is pretty high for stock right? so maybe it can handle the high vcore... or not

With my temps though, my voltage cant really be that bad for my proc.. My load temps on prime95 were at 44C for 8 hours, than it finally jumped to 49C. When im gaming or encoding my temps never get higher then 41C.
You know what, i think im actually gonna try for 4.0ghz. xD
