i have bought the fractal r3 case and was wondering if i could mount a 4x120mm rad on the top. and what would be a suitable kit to go with the rad (CPU block, res, pump,etc)
im thinking of buying CPU block option 1 Heatkiller CPU Rev 3.0 - Socket 1366 with Nickel and Chrome Plated Top pump option 1 Swiftech MCP655 / D5 Vario 12v DC Pump - with Speed Controller Fan option 1 Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120 mm Silent Case Fan - 57 CFM, 1850 RPM Fan option 2 Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000 - 120x38mm Fan Rad option 1 EK Waterblocks EK-CoolStream RAD-XT 480 Rad option 2 Swiftech MCR420-QP Quiet Power 4X120mm - Matte Black Rad option 3 Feser X-Changer QUAD 480 Extreme Performance Radiator this is what im aiming at something like this ![]() and so far i have case-fractal r3 mobo-GA-x58a-ud3r gpu-ati 5770 xfx psu-shaw viper 1200w CPU-haven't yet bought(i7 950) and im also wondering if the i7 950 is a good buy. mostly just a gaming rig and some 3d animations. also which graphics card should i upgrade to for maximum performance. |

i think that rad is good for someone on a budget and it is overkill for a single i7 cpu loop. if im wrong correct me.
