Thanks. Mine was alot simpler though. I have an AMD, and I went to this menu and it said: CPU Clock speed: (200mhz) and all you had to do was select the number you want it to go to. Ram and everythng else stayed the same.
thats the whole point of overclocking. To take something on the low end and make it jsut as fast as something on the high end. Temps and voltages you need to watch for.
With too high of voltages, especially on the cpu, it will either kill it instantly, or kill it over a short period of time. You can experiment if you want
It'll smoke, or simply won't load up and you'll smell the acrid taste of burning silicon Like when I managed to melt some RAM by not putting it in properly :s
