Default Overclocking a 9800 gtx evga

Okay so i was given an OC tool by EVGA and when i clock my core clock above like 850mhz are w.e my computer freezes up and it like doesnt even work. then the screen fragments and the drivers failll please help!

Im a newbie

heres my specs

AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.1 Ghz
EVGA Nvidia 9800 GTX 512 GDDR3
4 GB Patriot RAM
Windows 7 32-bit
MSI k9n platinum motherboard

EDIT. Disregard the last statements....i have found how much i can clock it too.

I think u had reached the max speed my friend. correct me if im wrong but the default for 9800GTX 675/1688/1100. I had OC my 9800 and here is what I have 766/1915/1163 I might be able to go more but I decided to leve it here and niot stress it to much.
