overclocking
just to make sure when you overclock you get more out of the cpu it just makes more heat right?

when you overclock the cpu is using more power, faster calculating and make more heat. |

you should raise the blck. (base clock)
set the Vcore to what you think will be right for the overclock. try a blck at 170 and the Vcore at 1,3V. you can also try leaving the Vcore at auto and go easy on the base clock, just to see some easy results if it is your first time overclocking. |

yea i shouldnt need much just tired of maxing my cpu out with my programs. least this i5 is handling it rather well.
well my mobo has a program in bios so it was easy to oc to 3.2 ghz
