windows experience index is a waste of time, it's a poor excuse for a benchmark.

Don't waste time/money on it.

but, you need a SATA III SSD of some sort, OCZ Agility 3 maybe.

It has to be SATA III 6GB/s, SATA II SSDs maxed out in my mate's PC at 7.0. (Vertex II)

Scott Hanselmen does .NET podcasts as well as works for Microsoft. He tries to build the ULTIMATE development machine. This is from 2010. I'm sure there is an article about this on the same site, i just don't have time to look for it.

Also, check this out. They do the top scores for machines with the best WEI scores.

is this for a desktop PC or laptop?? If your going to upgrade to a SATA 3 drive you need to make sure your computers motherboard can support that speed

interesting, will do.

the 'Agility' is just an alternative to Vertex, i think it's cheaper too.
